A proposal for Nobody's Child

Know the wage gap before you place the order.

The Wage Intelligence Package puts living wage data where sourcing decisions get made. This is what it looks like across your 80 suppliers.

The Chain platform — Cost to Close dashboard

Updated with Fairtrade New

The Chain has been updated following our partnership with Fairtrade. We're announcing it in mid-October, with the official launch in November. Everything in this proposal reflects the updated platform, and the pricing is unchanged.

Distribution Management

Living wage payments tracked from you, to the factory, to workers, in line with Fairtrade.

Fairtrade differential

The wage uplift can be paid as a separate PO line item, traced to a Wage Tracker period, with factory receipt and payslip evidence behind it.

Sharper analytics, clearer reports

Clearer analytics and reports across all of your factories.

An easier route to Fairtrade certification

If you want Fairtrade certification, the route is simpler. It's an option, not a requirement.

The updated Chain platform, Cost to Close overview

The updated platform: Cost to Close now includes Payments and Distribution views.

Three modules, one tool

Wage Tracker, Cost to Close, and Supplier & Factories all draw on the same factory and payroll data.

Wage Tracker

Every connected factory measured against a living wage benchmark, updated as new payroll data comes in. You see the gap per worker, per factory, and whether real wages are moving in the right direction — not just at audit time.

Cost to Close

Live at the point of FOB negotiation: the uplift needed to close the wage gap, shown per garment, alongside the floor price below which minimum wage gets breached. Priced fairly, decided with the numbers in front of you.

Supplier & Factories

One record for every factory. Detailed information aligned to the Fairtrade Standard review section, so compliance status sits next to the wage data.

The Chain platform — PO differential breakdown and wage outcome scale

Cost to Close in practice — the PO differential breakdown and wage outcome scale for a live order.

Ask The Chain

Every user gets a built-in AI agent, sitting across all three modules. Ask it a plain question about your supply chain or Cost to Close data, and it answers straight from your live numbers.

Pricing for you

At 80 suppliers, Nobody's Child sits in the 50–150 factory bracket. Pricing below is for the platform on its own — semi support, where the day-to-day sits with your team and we step in when you need us.

We feel strongly that our cost should never be greater than the living wage gap you're closing. That's why we price per factory, not as a flat platform fee.
Platform — Semi Support
50–150 connected factories
£4,500per month, at full rollout
  • Wage Tracker and Cost to Close, live across all connected factories
  • Minimum wage and living wage benchmarks come through API calls from our data providers, ARI and WageIndicator. These are included up to an agreed cap — if you reach it, extra usage is billed at an agreed rate during scoping. This covers the API cost only, not ours.
  • Benchmarks kept current against Anker Research Institute and WageIndicator Foundation data
Semi support — your team manages day-to-day platform use; we're on hand when a question or an edge case comes up. Every red flag also comes to us.

What it costs month by month

Because the fee is banded by how many factories are live, cost rises in step with the rollout below — not from day one at full price.

MonthFactories liveBracketPlatform fee
Month 1105–20£1,500 / mo
Months 2–33020–50£3,000 / mo
Months 4–56050–150£4,500 / mo
Month 6+8050–150£4,500 / mo
Total across the 6-month rollout £21,000
£56.25
per factory, per month — once all 80 suppliers are live
£0.28
per garment order, assuming 200 garments with 500 units a month per factory
Illustrative — based on a factory running 200 garment orders of 500 units a month (100,000 units total). Actual cost per order will vary by factory volume.

Who does what

With semi support, your team runs The Chain day to day, and we're watching for red flags.

You

Choose which factories are active. Tell us when you add a new one.

The Chain

Analyses your data and sends you an update every month.

The Frank Co.

Gets alerted to every red flag, like a payroll not connecting, a wage below minimum or slow progress. We look into it first, then come to you. You're notified of every red flag too.

Every red flag gets looked at.

When something is red-flagged to us, here's what happens.

  • We look at all of them. Every red flag comes to The Frank Co.
  • We look into it first. We find out what's going on before it reaches you.
  • We get back to you. You know what's happening with every flag, so nothing sits unseen.
  • We're on hand if needed. If a flag needs more help, we're there to take it further with you.

Getting each factory live

Priced per factory, and chosen factory by factory — not every supplier needs the same starting point. Both options include a payroll test, to check the data comes through clean before a factory goes live.

Half onboarding

£500 per factory
  • Onboarding call with the factory
  • Resource pack covering what's needed and how to submit it
  • Light training on getting payroll data in
  • Payroll test — confirming the data comes through correctly

A phased rollout

Rather than all 80 factories at once, we'd suggest starting with your core suppliers and building out over six months. This is a starting point to adjust together.

10
Month 1

10 core suppliers live. Your highest-priority factories, connected first.

30
Months 2–3

+20 factories. Expanding out from the core group.

60
Months 4–5

+30 factories. The bulk of the remaining network comes online.

80
Month 6

+20 factories. Full network live and reporting.

Suggested steps

Based on what we've done with other brands, here's how we'd sequence it — and we've run a six-month onboarding much like the one suggested here before.

1

Full onboarding across key suppliers

Your core factories get the full baseline report from day one. Other suppliers can have simple onboarding, unless red flags are found.

2

A half-yearly report

See where the network stands and how the gap is moving before deciding what's next.

3

A full review where it's needed

If the report flags red flags at other factories, we run a full review on just those — priced separately, only where it's actually needed.

Reports and reviews

Optional, and priced per factory. We start with your data on The Chain, then our team does the analysis.

Deep dive report
£1,000–£2,000 per factory

One focus area, such as gender, minimum wage or overtime. Price depends on depth.

Quarterly review
From £500 per factory

For factories that need closer watching, every three months until fixed.

Yearly review
From £500 per factory

A once-a-year check, ideal for your high-profile factories.

GeoScreen New
From £1,000 per factory

Human rights risk screening and satellite imagery, for factories already on The Chain.
